Questions owners ask
If your vehicle has a smart alternator, which is common on newer vehicles, or you have a lithium battery, a DC-DC charger is usually needed for your leisure battery to charge properly while you drive.
Both are reliable. The right one depends on your battery, whether you want solar input built into the same charger, and whether you already use Victron equipment. We will recommend one to suit.
Yes, we recommend it. A DC-DC charger gives a lithium battery the correct charge and protects your vehicle’s alternator.
Some Renogy models take a solar input as well. Victron Orion chargers are DC-DC only, so they work alongside a separate solar charge controller.
Yes. It charges the caravan’s leisure battery from the tow vehicle while you are towing, where the tow vehicle’s wiring supports it.
Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 6 months from the date the work is completed, and parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty.
