07 — Questions

Questions owners ask

How much does an awning cost to fit?

It depends on the awning, its length and the brackets your vehicle needs. Tell us your vehicle and we will give you a fixed price before any work starts.

Fiamma or Thule: which is better?

Both make excellent awnings. The right one depends on your vehicle, the brackets available for it and your preference, and we will recommend one to suit.

What length do I need?

Usually as long as your vehicle allows between doors, windows and lockers. We measure and advise on the best length.

Wall or roof mounted?

It depends on your vehicle’s body and roof line. We check your vehicle and use the correct brackets for it.

Do you fit awnings to caravans?

Yes. We fit roll-out awnings and canopies to caravans as well as motorhomes and campervans.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 6 months from the date the work is completed, and parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty.

What our customers say

Kevan Ward6 months ago

Luke has recently completed a habitation service on our motorhome - fortunately he could fit us in at short notice. He is very knowledgeable, his work is very thorough and he provides a clear explanation of the work he does and the costs. During the service he spotted some issues with work that we had done a while ago - he suggested how these could be put right and we’ve booked him in to do this. We will definitely use Luke again and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Luke did a superb professional job fixing the wiring problems on our VW transporter and also installed a solar panel and two victron units. Very happy with the work and would certainly recommend this company!

I highly recommend Luke! I asked Luke for a habitation check on my camper. He was very efficient and he explained everything he found in detail. Luke is very friendly and helpful. He even managed to squeeze in an appointment, at short notice, for the habitation check due to me going away on holiday. Thank you Luke. Excellent service!
