What your fluid change includes

A full drain, refill and bleed of your Alde system, with the key parts checked while we are there.

01 Drain the old fluid

DRAIN

The old heating fluid is drained from the whole system.

02 Refill with approved fluid

REFILL

Refilled with approved heat transfer fluid, ready for the cold.

03 Bleed the system

BLEED

Air bled out so heat reaches every radiator and convector.

04 Pump and expansion tank

CHECKS

The circulation pump and expansion tank checked while we are there.

05 Pipework and leaks

LEAK CHECK

Pipework and joints inspected for leaks.

06 Testing and handover

HANDOVER

Heating tested and the fluid change recorded for your records.

Old fluid drained, approved fluid in, the system bled and the pump, tank and pipework checked.

How often should Alde fluid be changed?

Alde recommends changing the heating fluid every two years.

How much does it cost?

£295, at your home or storage site. Travel is included within 30 miles.

How long does it take?

Allow about 2 hours.

What are the signs the fluid needs changing?

Heating that is slow to warm up, a noisy pump, discoloured fluid or a level that keeps dropping. If it has been more than two years, it is due anyway.

Can you do it at the same time as my service?

Yes. We can change your Alde fluid at the same visit as your habitation check or caravan service.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 6 months from the date the work is completed, and parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty.
